Youth Attention Center is looking for suitable host homes to help homeless youth through the Transitional Living Program. The host homes provide support to youth aged 17 and older* who are unaccompanied, which implies that they are not living with a parent or guardian. One of the most important goals of the Transitional Living Program is to provide safe, stable, and supportive homes for homeless youth.
Host Home Application Provided below is the host home application. Please see "Residential Transitional Living" for more information about the program and information.
For more information on the host home application and approval process, please contact Amy Eddinger at YAC.
*If you are interested in hosting youth aged 16 or under, please contact your local MDHHS office to discuss Foster Care licensing requirements.
